In anticipating all that will happen in the next month, going to California to find a place to live, drop night (a night where the pilots in Stephen's flight find out which planes they will be flying, followed by a gigantic party), photographing a wedding, banquet night, graduation, and starting a new phase of our lives in California, a whole list of questions and emotions are bubbling over inside of me. Where will we live? House, condo, apartment? What are all the details I really need to know for graduation, am I missing anything? When should I start packing? Is there something I should be doing right now before things get crazy???
I'm sure these are some of the same things that were going through Gabe and Jessica Narvaez's mind about a month ago. They just recently went through all the craziness, and now he's graduated, and they are entering a new phase in their journey. I met them out on the flight line for a few pictures by the T1 plane he's been training in the past several months for a few pictures on Graduation day. Sometimes amidst the craziness, it's so easy to say there just isn't time, or there's too much to focus on to step aside for pictures, or it's not worth the effort, or the financial investment... but I bet you 10 years down the line, this couple's children are going to look back at this picture in awe and wonder of their daddy earning his wings in the American Air Force, and they are going to see the excitement and joy their parent's shared together before they even came into existence.
A picture is worth more than a thousand words, it brings back so many emotions that just can't be tapped into by any other means. You better believe, I am going to be documenting the next month of all my husband and I are anticipating like a paparazzi on caffeine (which isn't much of an exaggeration, for those that know me :)). You may not see too many other posts of my work in the coming month or two, as my work may be put on hold for a while, but I am going to try my best to document my life to keep you all in the loop :).
